A creature that lives in bodies of water and wells, it drags children into the water if the get too close. The Marabbecca is of Italian decent. I felt like there was a abundance of water dwelling monsters in folklore that dragged children underwater so I focused my designs on the concept of a beats that lives in a well.
My designs are based around a mollusk like creature as I feel that would be most appropriate for a monster that is crammed into a tight space. I played around with the concept of having it live underground and only have hands visible that drag people down into a massive maw that would digest them, almost like the ground swallowing them.
